Can we still mount a legal challenge?

Early legal advice to LVA is that there is no way to legally challenge the dreadful decision by health buraeacrats and Greg Hunt to cut off access to nicotine and force you back to smoking. That is why it is more critical than ever for you to contact you Liberal or National Party MP and get ScoMo to overturn this reckless ban!

We’re going to direct all funds towards our Direct Action campaign that has already seen the coalition go to war over vaping!

What is the Vapers’ Fighting fund?

Our first and foremost goal is to mount a political challenge to try and stop this ban from being implemented. All funds raised by the Vapers’ Fighting Fund will go directly to this fight and cover the campaign costs to promote our joint campaign to protect your rights as a vaper.

Is this just another donation to Legalise vaping australia?

No. All funds will be used exclusively for the fight to stop this senseless ban. The Vapers’ Fighting Fund will be jointly managed and administered by Legalise Vaping Australia (LVA) and the Australian Retail Vaping Industry Association (ARVIA).

What will happen with any left-over funds?

We plan on throwing every resource we have at this fight and don’t expect to have any funds leftover. However, in the unlikely event that we have a couple of dollars leftover, we will spend it on the ongoing battle to legalise and regulate vaping.

1,500,000 DOLLARYDOOS?! ARE YOU GUYS INSANE?!

Somewhat, yes. But this funding goal is absolutely legitimate. We are fighting against a Federally Funded Government Bureaucracy that has an almost limitless budget. This will be a David and Goliath battle, so while our goal may seem high, we need every single penny to mount a credible opposition to those who want to destroy vaping in Australia.

are donations tax deductible?

Our campaign to overturn this reckless regulation will potentially fall outside of the rules for tax deductible gifts. A tax deductibility status would severely limit what we can and can't do, unfortunately donations to the Vapers’ Fighting Fund will not be tax deductible. We hope you feel strongly enough about stopping this crazy proposal and are still able to support this cause anyway!

I can’t afford to make a donation right now. How else can I help?

We fully understand that not everybody is in a position to make a financial contribution towards this fight. If you are unable to make a donation, there are many other ways you can get involved!

ARVIA has also launched an email campaign which we encourage you to get behind.

You can also record a 30-60 second video, take a picture, or write a message explaining how vaping has changed and saved your life, and post it on Facebook. Don’t forget to tag your Local MP or Senator (or both) and definitely tag the Minister for Health @greg.hunt.mp
